Nice compact camera

Strengths: Very compact,Touchscreen easy to use, Beautiful look, Large display, HD capable, 5X optical zoom, Smile capture feature

Weakness: High noise at 3200 ISO, average low light performance

Sony Cybershot DSC T200 is a nice compact camera with stunning looks . The day light pictures that I took with this were awesome and very much comparable to my Canon powershot S2. Most compact cameras have 3X zoom but this one is 5X.This camera has average low light performance. I took pictures with my powershot S2 in night they look much great. It can go upto ISO 3200 but there is tremendous...

Black Sony DSC-T200 Camera

Strengths: Awesome looks, Compact size, Largest screen for compact cameras, 5X optical zoom vrs 3X for most, 8.1 megapixels, High Def pictures, Touch screen, Fun editing features

Weakness: Easy to forget to close shutter case when turning off power using just the power button. Too bad that for the money invested, that there isn't a memory card or HD cables included.

Love the look & feel & features of this camera. Easy to begin using right out of the box. The camera can be set up to use with just some of the more basic features at first, before learning & using all the additional advanced features. The pictures I've taken so far with this camera are nice & clear. It meets my expectations. Plan to get the HD cables to be able to view the pics on our Sony HD TV.

Great Camera!!

Strengths: Compact size, feels sturdy, clear pictures, large LCD touch screen, very high ISO-3200, Full HD 1800, Carl Zeiss lens, easy to use

Weakness: Need to be careful not to crack large 3.5" LCD screen. People with large fingers may find a stylus helpful to navigate the touch screen

This is the perfect camera if you are looking for a small camera to take great pictures! This is my third sony camera and I have loved all of them! Takes clear, detailed pictures, comparable to pictures taken with an SLR.

DCS-T200 Perfect Size and Enormous Viewing Screen

Strengths: 1. SIZE, SIZE, SIZE 2. LARGE TOUCHSCREEN / DISPLAY 3. Incredible 5x optical zoom 4. Great battery life considering size of screen. 5. Built-in red-eye remover with stored pics.

Weakness: 1. The touchscreen user interface takes getting used to 2. The zoom slider is kind of small, but so is the camera! 3. Only accepts proprietary rechargeable battery.

What can I say... I was drawn to the camera because of the size and the large touchscreen display. I take mostly snapshot pics, so award winning photos is not my goal. However, this little gem snaps some good pics! I was blown away by the zoom capability for such a small camera. The touchscreen user interface really takes a little time to understand, but you get the hang of it. I don't love the...

Cyber-shot DSC-T200/B Black Digital Camera

Strengths: size, menu's, ease of use

Weakness: picture quality in low - medium light

The camera is just plain sexy. From the looks to the operation I was pleased. Although it takes a little to get used to touch screen and the new menu's, it's all pretty intuitive. I especially like the fact that the lens is fixed... I've broken a couple compact cannons due to an accidental power on while in the case or in a drawer face down. We've experimented with the camera for over a month...

Style and function combined

Strengths: 3.5 Widescreen is large, crisp, and clear. It's a nice size and has a great form to fit any pair of hands. Picture quality it great. Easy to use - especially with the touch screen.

Weakness: It is a bit pricey for what you get (I believe you will be paying more for the design and brand rather than the camera itself). The pointing device included isn't that functional. Fingerprint magnet.

I bought this camera for taking simple snapshots of events and people. However, after using this camera on vacation, I believe it goes much farther than the average point and shoot. The user interface on the 3.5" touchscreen made it very easy to use (it even included help menus if you ever get lost). The interface allows you to focus on a specific point in an image and allows you to change...

Sony DSC-T200 Camera - Black

Strengths: Touch Screen, Compact Size, Sleek, editing features, 3.5 inch screen, 5X optical zoom, 8.1 megapixel.

Weakness: soft pictures

Easy to use, fun to use touch screen on digital camera, same memory card can be used with PSP (so , I saved money on memory card). Pictures are great but sometimes soft in dim light. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Sony T200 review

Strengths: big screen, control by touch, thiner than ever

Weakness: the pen can be smaller if possible

I love Sony. T200 is getting much better than I can imagine. I have used T100 before and I can not find any camera with both function and style better than that. But T200 make it. The big screen and thinner body make it pretty.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200 (Black)

THE GOOD: Fast performance; Smile Shutter and touch-based focus are quirky but useful features; touch-screen interface much improved over previous cameras. THE BAD: Too reliant on the touch screen; poor picture quality compared with the T100s; tiny zoom rocker. THE BOTTOM LINE: Though still a solid camera, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200s touch-sensitive LCD and lower image quality present a step...

DCRP Review: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200

If the 3X zoom and 2.5" LCD on a typical ultra-compact just isn't enough for you, then you'll like the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200. It packs a 5X zoom and an absolutely enormous 3.5" LCD display into an thin metal body. Of course, there are some compromises that come with those "big" features, but the T200 is still a pretty good ultra-compact camera, and one which I can recommend to most everyone....
