Thank you Fuji for making it my best dive trip ever

Strengths: Double-O ring with a twist lock for great protection against leaks; all the case buttons are easy to operate

Weakness: No spare O-ring; flash diffuser = flimsy; wrist-cord could be sturdier

This Fuji case is a fantastic kit for the beginner/recreational underwater photographer. I went out on 3 dives in one day, two drift dives in strong current out near Palancar Reef in Cozumel, and one in a shallow reef called Paradise Reef. The depth was between 30 - 70 feet for the 3 dives. I also did a lot of snorkeling with the camera on other days. Performance-wise, the double-o ring with a...

The only option, but a VERY GOOD one!!!

Strengths: TWO o-ring main seal, Stock flash works good, All buttons work flawlessly, Price!

Weakness: "Only" rated to 130ft, Need an adaptor to mount external lenses, Hard to find replacement o-rings

I couldn't find another option for an underwater case such as Ikelite, but luckily Fuji's offering is a good one! It has a double o-ring main seal which should help a little better at protecting the camera from flooding. The stock flash works pretty good in the case (a diffuser is included). Sometimes with other brands of cases the flash can be blocked by bulky parts of the case. All buttons can...

Very Nice Housing

Strengths: Double o-rings, construction

Weakness: Button icons difficult to see. Button cluster could be tough to use with cold water gloves.

The housing seems very well built. Double o-ring seal and a safety lock so it won't accidentally pop open like a regular latch possibly could. Compact size easily fits in a BCD pocket. Not much detail or tips in the manual about taking underwater pictures. All camera buttons are on the housing. Even has a nice metal tripod mount.
