Pretty, but...

Strengths: Awesome size, and LCD screen. Touch screen is a nice touch.

Weakness: Shutter lag, slow to focus.

Shutter lag is the biggest problem. Push the shutter button and the scene in the LCD freezes, however that's not the shot taken, it's actually a frame or two after the frozen frame. Focus speed is terrible, when it actually does focus it's razor sharp, by the the time it does focus the shot is lost. This is a great camera for scenery or portraits, any dynamic shots and good luck capturing it.

PENTAX OPTIO T10

Strengths: Beautifully simple interface Large LCD screen Superb image quality Very well constructed

Weakness: Flash a bit weak Battery strength could be better

An amazingly simple camera to learn to operate with great image quality and a nice range of features. Camera construction is very well done and the camera appears to be very rugged. Some reviews have noted that the camera is slow to focus and has a long shutter lag but I have not found this to be an issue once you learn to use the camera properly. Buying an extra battery is recommended and is...

way to go Pentax! nice job.

Strengths: decent price.user friendly. large LCD screen. Cheaper than the Sony N1.

Weakness: none so far.

This camera is very easy to use. For the people that have trouble with all the knobs, buttons and features this is an excellent camera. The menu is easy to scroll through, icons are easly read, modifications to take pictures are easy. The manual is not as thick as a bible easy to understand. Its small and very light with a slick stlyish appearance to it.there are very few buttons in the way as it...

Pentax Optio T10

Strengths: 3 inch display, touch screen, aluminum body

Weakness: lack of image stabilization

The simple to use touch screen interface is a pleasure to use. There aren't any endless menus to scroll through. Everything is well laid out and to the point. This is a great point and shoot camera and the picture/video editing functions that are built right in are a welscome plus.
