The NetVanta 1224R PoE Switch from ADTRAN is a standards-based, non-blocking Layer 2 switching solution available at a cost up to 50 percent less than competing switches. These devices are suitable for interconnecting LAN devices or for network segmentation in applications requiring Fast Ethernet. 1224R PoE unique, all-in-one access platforms that combine switch, router, modular WAN interface, and firewall in a single 1U chassis.1224R PoE Provide 24-port Ethernet and Fast Ethernet switching. An integral IP router provides cost-effective Internet access, corporate Frame Relay or point-to-point connectivity using routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and RIP. The NetVanta 1224R PoE platform also provide standards-based 802.3af PoE functionality for powering IP phones, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), or other devices requiring LAN power. LAN power. This product support up to 15.4 watts per port or 370 watts total (the maximum power allowed). A single WAN access slot in the back of the NetVanta chassis supports a variety of Network Interface Modules (NIMs). This NetVanta 1224R PoE Bundle with T1/FT1 with DSX-1 NIM.
